Hey we don't discrimate! Anybody can ride with us. Wonder if Georgia was aware that them doggies wasn't wearing Helmets? There are now two people testing the GA. Helmet law. One has had their case for riding without a helmet dismissed as GA. has a protective head gear law and does not specify what constitutes a commpliant motorcycle helmet. The individual had a stocking cap and muffler to protect him from the cold and eye protection from road stuff. Case Dismissed. Most probably aren't aware that is how the the Fla. law eventually was overturned. It was declared unconstitutional in 1995 (but yes the cops kept right on writing tickets)because the DOT could not provide a list of approved motorcycle Helmets. Ain't history wonderful? That however is not the reason for this post.Every year about this time the roads are chock full of motorcycles toting toys on toys runs. Which is cool (sometimes cold) and fun and all that. But we never see where the stuff goes or make connection with the children that get them. So this year oure little band of misfit renegades decided, HEY, lets see if we can find one family we can adopt and focus on them. Well we found the family fairly late and didnt have much time to get the word out, but damn, you should see the response. You know what? Makes me proud to be associated with this little band of misfit renegades.
Yeah I know, its not a political or freedom fighting activity, but hey, who knows? Maybe one of the four kids we be helping out will grow u to become one heck of a Freedom Fighting activist. We need more young folk to get involved before all us grey beards die off. Look for the pics we will be taking as we deliver the stuff Sat. It's a feel good thing. (if I dont forget my camera again.
