There are like a billion sites having to do with Motorcycles, Freedom, Tattoos and various other lifestyles. So why another one? Well why not? Hmmmmm, let me count the why nots. Nah, if I do I'll stop now.
Most try to reach the broadest population possible (hey some sites make bucks that way). A lot of information true, but little connectivity to what goes on in this specific part of the world. And this is a unique specific part of the world. The Big Bend area of the Florida panhandle is a semi rural area with a diverse population of motorcyclists. My contention-a bit disconnected. Although events around the country can and do impact on this area, It is doubtful that many of the area motorcyclists are going to hit some obscure rally in Idaho (nothing against Idaho, I use there potatoes). So why not an attempt to focus a little? Well.........why not? Papa John from Panhandle Chapter ABATE of Florida is fond of saying, "nothing beats a failure but a try". I like Richard Bachs "Argue for your limitations and they are yours" (from the book "illusions").
So here is a meager attempt to focus on the Big Bend area of Motorcycling lifestyles. And as a member of the Big Bend Chapter of ABATE (A Brotherhood Against Totalitarian Enactments) of course the emphasis will be on FREEDOM, BROTHERHOOD and the commonalities of those who choose to live life "in the wind". Acceptance, Tolerance and Open mindedness I hope will be key words here. Neutral in regards to MC groups, clubs, organizations, whatever. Rabid for the Freedom of the Road.
