Updates and good driver distraction post.

Been doing a little upgrading hoping to make info easier to find. If you click on the Big Bend Web link you will see on the home page a link has been added called (appropriately so I might add), are you ready for this? OK, "more links". What we have tried to do is add some (not a bunch) links that we feel have info that is relevant to our cause. Obviously out of the million or so sites out there we can not list them all and would not read them all. We are aiming for balance. As with everything however I would encourage you to check and double check. Hard to believe that not all the info on the web is true. Therefor we take no responsibility for what you may find on the posts we link. We ourselves never know what will be there from one day to the next.

FOR A REAL GOOD POST ON DRIVER INATTENTION: No it is not here, it is on Bruce and Rays forum (we link to it) posted this date by "girl Geek". It has caused me pause to wonder about the words "accident" and "negligence". Seems to this rider anyway, that it is becoming far to easy to run over a motorcycle, refer to it as an accident and get off easy. I'm thinking, if your yaking on the cell phone while leaning over the back seat trying to swat your kids with french fries fallin out your mouth all over the dvd player in the car trying to look in the rear view mirror to see if your make up is ok, and ya hit a biker well then, Im thinkin thats gross negligence. It ain't an accident, it ain't a mistake, its stupid, inconsiderate ignorance with total lack of concern that your actions may end in the death of some childs mother or father and you never be allowed to drive again but should have to stand in for that kids B'day for the rest of his/her life and apologize for your ignorance. Hmmm, I've got to quit trying to be so politically correct. rc
