Received word this evening that Richard "Quig" Quigly who will probably go down in history as one of (if not "the") most important bikers rights advocate of our times passes on.Richard Quigly passed away on Saturday September 15 in the evening. Per Quig's wishes, there will not be a funeral or memorial services, he has entrusted Konrad to do what he wanted done.
The consensus at this point in time is to do a memorial run in one year.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, the throttle full out, the body thoroughly worn out and used up and yelling, "What a ride!"
Quig, it's been one hell of a ride. Thank you.
