The link takes you to an interesting thread on why we (bikers rights advocates, individual freedoms activists, etc) do what we do and this link :

Will take you to my two cents worth. Some of these reads are long but sometimes reading them jogs the few brain cells I have left and helps to put a few things in perspective. So why do those who choose the boring path of looking up legislation, writing letters to legislators, showing up at town meetings, arguing with each other over which way is best to address an issue and all that fun stuff do what they do (talkin bout the ones that do it now, not the ones that say they do it)? Especially when the weather is kick ass, the riding season is swinging into full gear with new motorcycle rallies to check out, and there are twisties to ride that have not yet been ridden? Why? Who knows? Maybe it is because they know if they don't stand watch over those who would oppress us we could lose the freedom to do the things we cherish.
So though some of the reading (for those who do it) may seem harsh and a little condemning, it is not meant to be. It is only meant to jog a few brain cells. Ride FREE!
