Ok let me see how this works. You get busted for drunk driving ok. Which in Fl. is like .08. Well I don't know about anyone else but when I was drinking if I dropped to a .08 I'd be shaking to bad to drive. But thats another story. So ok you get popped. You immediately go to jail, your vehicle get impounded, you get a hunk of a fine, you gots to go to DUI school (which cost a hunk), then you goes and gets evaluated that says you need counseling which cost more money, your license is suspended on the spot, like immediately, your insurance either gets canceled or goes through the roof and your on probation and you life is hell. And you ain't killed nobody or hit nobody (fortunately). Hey I got no problem with all that. If you want to get drunk go for it, I'll by ya a drink, ya just don't need to be driving cause you might (mind you now I said might) kill somebody. Thats what all them punishments are about. They don't want you to might kill somebody and if you think on it you don't have the right to kill somebody just cause you wanted to, or accidentally got drunk.But heres what I don't get (ok, I admit there be a whole heap of things I do not get) your driving down the road stone cold sober, yaking on a cell phone (which is legal mind you ), pickin your nose (also legal) between attempts of stuffing a big mac down your gullet while tryng to smack the screamin rug rat in the back seat (all legal, unless of course ya leave a bruise on the rug rat and he has his own cell phone and calls rug rat protection on ya) and in the process you blow through a red light and smack some biker. I mean like smack em dead.
And the police come and they play with their tape measures and pencils and them little diagrams they got and they ask if you been drinkin or druggin and they write you a ticket for running a red light which cause you done killed somebody you are gonna have to go to court for. But heres my bet ok. Anyone wanna take me up on it? You actually did killed somebody out of nothing but inconsiderate negligence, can't even blame it on booze and you know what. Unless you killed a relative of the judge, in Florida you probably won't get half of what the dude above that "might of" killed somebody is gonna get.
And ya know what else is also really whacked. Most Bikers are gonna go, hey did you know ol Joe? Yeah, he got killed on his bike by someone blowin a red light. Yeah, thats a bitch ain't it. You know somebody ought to do something about that stuff. Yepper, that be right. Somebody ought to. So who is it going to be...........rc
