"Michelin Announce Motorcycle Tire Recall"

Michelin has notified the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Transport Canada that it is recalling Michelin(R) Pilot(R) Power 2CT and Pilot(R) Power 120/70 ZR 17 (58W) front motorcycle tires with the "Made in France" markings in the United States and Canada. This recall involves these specific tires only and has no impact on any other Michelin tires. Related actions are under way in other countries. Full article here.

Ok, ok, I know what your thinking. Primarily because I had all the thoughts myself. Trying to think of a slogan like, "Ride , Free, ride fast sooner or later we'll see ya". Or maybe. "Ride as fast a you want we got a discount this month". Or like maybe can you get your tatts removed and framed to leave your loved ones. Come on now, you gotta have a sense of Humor about this stuff.

But here's a couple of realities: Culley's cares about the community. They hosted the Traveling Vietnam Wall here last year and treated those who ride with respect. They know a page on this site ain't gonna do much for their bottom line. They just give a damn. And have agreed to sponsor a page where we can host a safety video at least once a week. And for that we are grateful.

And we may also might ask (notice I said might) ya know there are some places out there got no problem feeding you all the beer you can drink and taking all the money you can give em and some of you may even know who I may be referring to. Next time your forking over your hard earned cash to them, ask them. "What are you all doing for bikers rights and Freedom?"

Go ahead ask? Dare ya? One outfit told me straight out they can't be associated with our newsletter because our politics are to radical? Bikers Rights? Freedom? To Radical? But hey, your money ain't to radical for them, now is it?

July 4th Party-INDEPENDENCE DAY

H.J. "KUNTRY" (click here to see bio) and this little ol blog gonna have a back yard gig here on the fourth (see flyer here). Now I understand this little ol blog is primarily for bikers. However FREEDOM, INDEPENDENCE and LIBERTY are for everybody. It's a family thing and we be doin it on a wing and a prayer so I wouldn't suggest anybody fly in. But if your in the area come on by. Which brings to mind the question? If the Good Ol U.S. of A. is still the land of the free and the home of the brave, how come there are so many sites out there that are questioning our current course.

Don't get me wrong. We are the greatest country in the world without a doubt. But only eternal vigilance by "US" (You and I are the U.S in U.S.A.) will keep us that way . Ride Free. rc
