The Time for TALK is Over

This accident involves the Spokes Of Hope chapter of the Christian Motorcyclist's Association. Please put the families and friends of all involved, including the driver of the car,in your prayers.it would be easy to condemn the driver at fault but it would also be pointless. She,along with the others, paid a very high price for a moment of impulsive reaction.Details below are from an e mail sent by their chaplain. He was the fifth rider back and watched helplessly as the accident unfolded.I can only imagine the horror. The entire chapter and area CMAers are devastated, and we all share the loss.

On Friday August 10 at about 3:30 PM we departed Duncan, OK with five bikes for a trip to eastern Oklahoma for a weekend of riding and fellowship. We were traveling east on Highway 7. About seventeen miles into the trip a 1995 Nissan Altama crossed the center line and struck the first four bikes.

The first bike sustained damage to the left side but was not knocked down and the couple on the bike were not injured. The second bike hit the automobile head on and she(the rider) went home to the Lord. The third bike struck the automobile and went into the ditch. The woman on the second bike and the man on the third bike were married. The fourth bike hit the automobile and the couple that were riding it were ejected and both went home to the Lord.

I was driving the fifth bike and was not hit by the car. I was driving a trike, and the body received a great amount of damage from debris but my wife and I were not injured. The driver of the automobile was ejected onto the pavement. Both the automobile driver and the rider on the third bike were flown to Oklahoma City in critical condition.
Frank Day is in the hospital and we lost his wife Betty Jennie Day from Terrell, OK. We lost Rodger and Linda Gunter from Ryan Oklahoma. The funeral for Roger and Linda was yesterday. The funeral for Jennie Day is scheduled for Saturday August 18 at 10:00 AM in Waurika, OK.

Driver of car died Saturday. She dropped her cell phone and was retrieving it when she crossed the center line.

SAY THAT AGAIN SENATOR?

Senator Nelson was in Wakulla Co. This week. I didn't go to see him. He didn't answer my questions the last time I saw him with anything other than "I don't know" and he never got back to me and he hasn't answered my letters (though I do get sent newsletters about what a wonderful job he is doing. It's just that none of them ever answer my questions). So I figure (check out the finger in the previous post).

However the Wakulla News reports that he was asked about "warrantless wiretapping" to which he responded, "Nobody in this room is more frustrated with the assault on our civil liberties as a result of not respecting the law". He went on to state that in the five years since 9/11 the administration disregarded the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act's requirement that the courts review any wire-tapping by domestic spy agencies.

He went on to say that stories about the new law had been mischaracterized and misunderstood by the "media". "what we passed self destructs in six months" Nelson said.

Nelson also stressed that "chatter is up" (you know thats government "speak" for "we got a reason to violate your rights we, just ain't gonna tell ya what it is") and it was important to have something in place immediately, Nelson said.

OK, OK , lets figure it out ok. No one is more concerned with the "assault on civil liberties". Well who is "no one"? Didn't he say "what we passed"? And didn't he say after what "we (I don't know who "we" is?) passed self-destructs something will need to be in place immediately?"

Well Hello Senator that was a masterful job of passing the buck, then taking it back. And I'm not defending the "other side" either. Hell I can't tell which side is which anymore. So I got an idea. How about you and the rest of them "we's" telling us what that "chatter" is? Because I can guarantee you one thing, if the American pubic don't like the chatter, those doing the chattering gonna be in trouble. But if the American public finds out all this "chatter" is just an excuse to pass totalitarian laws to further restrict our liberties, you all gonna be in trouble!

What's the saying? The best defense is a strong offense? Why is the "government" discounting their best "offense", the American public?

"Those who profess to favor freedom, yet deprecate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightening. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle. Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will." Frederick Douglass, African-American abolitionistAdd to Technorati Favorites

I Might just become a CONSPIRACY nut!

Which has nothing to do with the pic sent in by "Bopper" with Girl Geek, Chainsaw and some other "northern"
activist. But ya see that "one finger salute" being so gleefully offered. Well thats a bit how I have been feeling of late. Especially after having been turned on to these two interesting bits of INFO:

ECHELON PROJECT:
ECHELON is a term associated with a global network of computers that automatically search through millions of intercepted messages for pre-programmed keywords or fax, telex and e-mail addresses. Every word of every message in the frequencies and channels selected at a station is automatically searched. The processors in the network are known as the ECHELON Dictionaries. ECHELON connects all these computers and allows the individual stations to function as distributed elements an integrated system. An ECHELON station's Dictionary contains not only its parent agency's chosen keywords, but also lists for each of the other four agencies in the UKUSA system [NSA, GCHQ, DSD, GCSB and CSE] AND,

You may have heard about Carnivore, a controversial program developed by the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to give the agency access to the online/e-mail activities of suspected criminals. For many, it is eerily reminiscent of George Orwell's book "1984." Although Carnivore was abandoned by the FBI in favor of commercially available eavesdropping software by January 2005, the program that once promised to renew the FBI's specific influence in the world of computer-communications monitoring is nonetheless intriguing in its structure and application. CARNIVORE: What is it? Where did it come from? How did it work? What was its purpose? In this article, you will learn the answers to these questions and more!

I posted these hestiantly because although I believe wholeheartedly in "flying saucers", "big foot", the "lochness monster", babies fathered by aliens and "Elvis" is alive and well living with "Michael Jackson" in a secret cult practicing cannibalism I didn't want anybody to think that I could possibly believe that the GOVERNMENT of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA would engage in such activities.

However I was involved in a internet discussion of the pro's and con's of/or the possibilities of
jamming cell phone communications. It was brought to my attention that although no one had done anything "illegal" it could be construed by law as engaging in a "conspiracy" to violate "Federal Law". Well Exuseeeeeee me!!!!!!! I thought we was just exercising this little ol thing called "FREE SPEECH"!!!!

So anyway, I just thought I might mention this in case I should disappear. Oh well hell, this blog would probably disappear too ya think? Ride Free (just don't talk abut it) rcAdd to Technorati Favorites
