AMA Board accepts Dal Smilie's resignation
Pickerington, OH - (Nov. 20, 2007) - The Board of Directors of the American Motorcyclist Association has accepted the resignation of Dal Smilie from the organization's governing body,
effective November 17.
The Board also agreed to discuss at its next meeting in February 2008 the manner in which
it will fill the Northwest Region Board position that Mr. Smilie has held for 25 years.
This follows resignations of past president and long time AMA fixture Ed Youngblood and others since current president Rob Dingham Took the helm.
A letter that can be seen here by John Hasty and the thread that follows may hold some clues. Then again maybe not. It would seem however that ill winds be blowing for motorcyclists as whole.Add to Technorati Favorites
