
Jupiter woman dies in motorcycle crash Saturday, January 5, 2008
Sandra L. Casey, 59, of Jupiter died Sunday night after a vehicle hit the motorcycle she was riding on the State Road 710 bridge in Indiantown, according to Florida Highway Patrol officials.
Casey died after she was ejected from the motorcycle in a hit-and-run crash, according to FHP officials. The driver of the motorcycle, Daniel J. Casey, 60, of Jupiter, suffered serious injuries and was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach.
JAN. 6 Jupiter man dies in Friday night crash on I-95 Officials reported that the Caseys were traveling east on a 2001 Harley-Davidson motorcycle about 7:35 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 30, when an unknown white vehicle approached from behind and hit the back of the motorcycle, causing both Caseys to fall from the motorcycle onto the shoulder of the road.
Investigators think the white vehicle might be a truck and should have extensive front end damage according to the report. Anyone with information about the crash should call the Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at (800) 273-TIPS.
