
FL: Motorcyclist dies in Boynton crash
Palm Beach Post, United States - BOYNTON BEACH — A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday night when his bike collided with a sedan on the city's west side, police said.
The motorcyclist, identified as Mario Santo Lombardo, 28, of Boynton Beach was riding his blue 2000 Suzuki northbound on Congress Avenue when he collided with a southbound red 2001 Ford Focus, said Stephanie Slater, police spokeswoman.
The bike struck the Ford with enough force to rotate the sedan 240 degrees, investigators said. Lombardo was thrown from the motorcycle. He died at Delray Medical Center.
The driver of the Ford, Brett C. Sherman, 36, of Boynton Beach suffered injuries to his hands and knees, Slater said.
