Florida ABATE Whitesands Chapter held there last meeting today.

One of ABATE of Florida's most active chapters and surely the stand out chapter in the panhandle disbanded today.  When the chapters request to be heard at the last state meeting was turned down by President and lobbyist Doc Riechenbach many questioned the need to stay in an organization where there voices would not be heard.

Whitesands had some of the hardest working people in ABATE within their ranks and their President is a Freedom Fighter that would put Doc Reichenbach to shame. Which is probably why I believe he was afraid of her. She often asked the question he either could not or did not want to answer. But then she is intelligent and courageous. Two qualities severely lacking in the the ABATE of Florida President and his do boys.

Following is a recent response of her's to one who had drunk to much of DOC's koolaide.

Let me, after reading your response to Bruce about speaking out, respond.

I am the past president of White Sands Chapter of ABATE of Florida, Inc. (Notice how I spell it right, I take the freedom of my rights quite seriously).

 

When the vote came up about Bruce's revocation, when was it open for discussion?

The vote read, "We will vote to take a vote on the revocation of Bruce Arnold's membership".  One man stood and asked if Bruce would be refunded his money and was told "No".

When it came to the "vote to take a vote on the revocation of Bruce's membership" White Sands Chapter courageously voted "No". We believe that informed decisions should be made.

Why?... #1 This is in violation of the By-Laws of the Organization. #2 What was Bruce doing that "disrupts" the functioning of the organization? (Article IV-Membership, J) #3 Bruce should have been provided proper written notifcation of his rights as a member of the organization.  (Article IV-Membership, J)

We are freedom fighters who fight for our rights? Or so I thought!

I made a formal written request to be placed on the agenda to address the board and delegates at the request of our membership.I went to the meeting prepared with information in hand only to be told that "I'll talk to you after this meeting", "I'll see you in the back room" during the general state meeting at Tallahassee.

I went into the back room with a few of our members Doc Reichenbach, Doc Fish, Frenchie and Big Mike.  I will tell you that one of the delegates of the White Sands Chapter was threatened by the "state president/lobbyist" which was uncalled for. 

What type of organization threatens their members' representatives? Not any organization that I have ever been a member of in my 58 years.During the course of our "back room meeting,  Reichenbach made false allegations of me which he was not prepared to provide evidence that I was guilty of.  He also berated our chapter and it's members during this fiasco. 

Due to the fact other members witnessed this tirade by the president/ of this organization it was reported back at our chapter meeting to all of the members in attendance.

So back to your claim that if you have something to say, say it at the state meeting is bogus! 

You are only able to be placed on the agenda at the discretion of the president no matter that you took the right steps to do so.

Please do not respond to this as I don't generally respond back to such nonsense but felt that in Bruce's defense would he have been placed on the agenda if he had requested?

Freedom is a term that is used quite loosely at all ABATE of Florida, Inc.'s meetings.

If you doubt this, find the minutes to the meeting where the vote was taken to assume the new acronym of American Bikers Aimed Toward Education.   I think you will be surprised at the fact that the membership voted to retain the "A Brotherhood Against Totalitarian Enactment".

There is too much to continue this stupid response.

ABATE of Florida, Inc.

We can only hope that Diana will stay involved in the rights movement. People of her caliber are hard to come by.We are also betting that James D. Reichenbach is happy now. He would rather lose intelligent members and chapters than listen to those who have much to add.

We Salute, Diana and the rest of Whitesands Chapter, who will now become the Whitesands Riders.  And we will continue to to look for good things from them.Add to Technorati Favorites
