Was just contacted by Mike Donohoe, PGR road captain. Apparently The Tallahassee Police Chief and The Leon County Sheriff just left a meeting where "they agreed to find a way"
to escort the Veterans who serve us when they return home".
We don't have all the details yet as this came from a Major. More info is coming. We don't know if there are any buts, ands or if's. We do not know what conditions they may try and put on us to make it difficult.
But we do know that they "have agreed to find a way to make it happen!"
So this battle is WON!
And how was it won By YOU! By "WE THE PEOPLE"
By every person who took the time to fire off enough e-mails to let our elected representatives know that enough is enough and we will not take it anymore!
All of us here in Tallahassee, Florida who ride for those who STAND and DIE for us can not thank those of you who, from everywhere, took the time to let our officials know how you felt and what you thought can not thank you enough. If you did participate I hope you feel like I do at this moment, that Damn it, we can take them on!
And to the citizenry of Tallahassee who have not yet had to suffer the experience of having your child come home draped with an American flag. Who have things so important to do that you would risk running over a soldier in uniform whose is trying to get his brother in arms to his final resting place or the motorcyclist flying American flags to Honor him and his fallen comrade all I can say is, YOUR NEXT!

We bikers, by our very nature, are lovers of Freedom, and by God just had had enough of people disrespecting those that fight and sometimes die for those Freedoms. We're an independent and sometimes contrary lot by nature, but when we finally stand-up together enmasse,lookout! because as evidenced today, we can move heaven and earth and even Tallahassee's LEO's! Great job everyone of kickin' ass & takin' names.
