Todays Update on Former Whitesands President Diana Woods condition

I went to visit Diana Last night, she is in good spirits, and is cheerful, she had her MRI done, and nothing more serious detected, she still doesn't know where the internal bleeding is coming form, but they are watching it closely, with X-rays everyday. She has even been up and taken a couple steps, surprisingly enough she says its not painful to walk.

The 6 breaks in her back were broken horizontally, and not vertically, the doc said if she was going to break it, this way the way, with several broken ribs, and a few more fractured, wearing the brace is somewhat difficult for now, but she will be in the brace for some time.

Nothing is definite as far as dates go, but after discharge for Gulf Coast, she will be going to Health South locally, for her rehabilitation, and the long road to recovery.

She thanks everyone, and is appreciative of your concerns, and again, everything all of you have sent me, I have copied and forwarded on to her, She has placed the phone on her bed, to make getting calls easier for her, AGAIN, she is in room 347 at Gulf Coast, Give her a call, or pop in to see her, I'm sure she would enjoy seeing you, she is not in a private room, but shares it with a 92 year old, petite lady, that snores like a lumber jack, when I asked how she sleeps through that, she laughed, and hit the morphine button. LOL! Our friend is doing well, and I'm sure all your well wishes and visits have helped.
