Alabama once again invades Tallahassee

Received a phone call this afternoon from an individual who rides with the PGR to report on Alabama state troopers with lights and sirens going blowing through lights and interfering with the local citizens freedom of movement in order to bring 3 buses of Alabama football players in for tomorrows game.

At first I was like, well hell we already posted about Alabama State Troopers dictating local traffic and it took me a bit to get through my thick head, your talking about today? She's like yeah, now I'm trying to get home on North Monroe and had to pull over for them.

Then God Bless her she asked a silly question:

Aren't they out of there jurisdiction???

Ah but Grasshopper, this little part of the country is Governed by Police Chief Dennis Jones and things like jurisdiction and rights are merely whims and flights of fancy. Where even the Tallahassee Democrat will not trespass on the holy ground of FSU and it's many little gods.Add to Technorati Favorites
