Apparently the comment feature has a mind of it's own
Whenever a post in recent posts gets clicked on, that post only, goes immediately to the top of the page. This keeps whole pages from having to reload thus keeping things faster.
To search page by page use the archives option and yes I have to use a magnifying glass to see too.
These are things we intend to address. As soon as we figure out how. But we will.
