We have discussed at length the lack of law enforcement escorts for military homecomings and other military / veteran events. I was driving to the game last Saturday for FSU and I passed the Renegade horse team, being given a LE escort by deputies from Leon county. Now - they did not use the lights and sirens, but they still got an escort. WTF? A horse can have an escort, but a military man or woman coming home can not have one? I really think the Sheriff has his priorities in the wrong spot!
Well, is it now Horses before Servicemen Sherrif?
