We Then escorted SSGT to the VFW in Crawfordville where he was officially welcomed home.
As usual our thanks go out to the Wakulla Sheriff who picked us up at the county as always, the citizens of Wakulla county who pulled off the road as a sign of respect (an honor not afforded the returning soldier in Leon County), those who rode to in respect and honor and most importantly SSGT Simmons and his family for their service to OUR country.
We hope to have Pics up soon.

...sometimes you just have to say "thank-you"...to "rc" for being unselfish with your time/talents to ensure the escort always is the best that can be..to my fellow PGR participants who showed up in numbers for a mid-week, night mission...you are the best!!
ReplyDelete..It only took witnessing the tears welling up in the eyes of Soldier Simmons brother (FHP Officer) to again remind me that all this is just, right and worthy!
