For to long we have been playing defense. It is now time to go on the offense. Reportedly ABATE of Florida President/Lobbyist and Chairman of the Board of NCOM of Florida has been nominated by D.O.T. Secretary to the:
Motorcyclist Advisory Council to the Federal Highway Administration (MAC-FHWA).
This means he is no longer a "Florida Problem", he is anybody who rides problem.
If you are not familiar with the history of Motorcycle rights advocacy in the state of Florida and now coming to your neighborhood Read the following posts and there links. Yes it is a lot of reading. However, what use is an uniformed, non-active "Bikers Rights" advocate? Kinda like tits on a Bull and the reason we are falling behind in the battle for our rights, freedoms and liberties!
Another letter to DOT Secretary Mary Peters.
