When riding I can't always see whats around the next corner, but I ride anyway

I can't see what the day will bring but I ride anyway

I can't see what tomorrow may bring but I ride anyway

I can't see the rain clouds down the road but I ride anyway

I can not see the car that will run the stop sign but I ride anyway

I can not see the face of God, But I believe anyway.......

Who screws us worse, politicican s or those paid to represent us?

AMA investigating Helena attorney

By CHARLES S. JOHNSON - IR State Bureau - 02/20/08 Dal Smilie A Helena attorney who has been a longtime director of a national motorcycle group has been investigated by the group for allegedly inflating travel expenses by what could be “well into six figures,” Cycle News has reported.
Dal Smilie, who works as chief counsel for the state Department of Administration, resigned from the board o f th e American Motorcyclist Association in November after an internal investigation of board members’ travel reimbursement claims.

The association’s board on Saturday issued a press release over what it called Smilie’s pattern of “unsubstantiated expense reimbursements.” Smilie had served on the group’s board for 25 years, including a stint as its chairman.

Reached Tuesday, Smilie expressed surprise at the recent announcement, which he said he learned about Monday.

“I’ve been a volunteer for that organization for a long time,” Smilie said. “We had a dispute over what travel was authorized. We had an ongoing discussion. I thought it was well on its way to being worked out amicably late last week.”

He declined further comment.

So heres the thing OK, Biker Capital is limited. After you subtract every charity and it's brother that is trying to get our money it isn't like we have a bunch of folk trying to stand up for our rights and/or go to bat for us. And I'm talking about among those that ride motorcycles.

Now we have to deal with the ones that say they speak for us such as NCOM/AIM, Certain ABATE Lobbyists, and now the American Motorcycle Association who would appear at tmes to have confused representing us with profiting off us???
