Who is Sibel Edmonds and why you should know who she is

The ACLU has called her “the most gagged person in the history of the United States of America.”

When we first heard about Blackwater USA (now known as Xe) , you can view some of our posts mentioning Blackwater USA or Xe, it's all the same, here, we were a bit intrigued. Afterall why would the United States, home to some of the best fighting forces in the world, need mercenaries. Ah yes, we can be cynical and naive at the same time.

We are always intrigued by how the government works. How it works locally, at the state level and at the Federal level.  Although we never were a proponent of Reagnas "trickle down" theory (Kind of sounded like someone saying "if you will just be patient sooner or later someone will trickle on you") we do observe how corruption does seem to flow down hill almost as fast i f not faster than some other things.

Or fear however as it appears that there is so much stopped up at the Federal  Level that if it is ever given a Righteous flush we will all drown in the stuff.  So we try to keep at list a little informed so as to know when to pull out the rubber raft or at least don mask and snorkel.

The "American Conservative " (and no the reading of such does not classify me as a conservative just as watching "Sons of Anarchy" doesn't make any one Biker) has just released an interview with Sibel Edmonds that just wants you to holler, "more".  But more is hard to get since the government does it's best to shut her up every chance it gets.

So these conversations, between 1997 and 2001, had to do with a Central Asia operation that involved bin Laden. Not once did anybody use the word “al-Qaeda.” It was always “mujahideen,” always “bin Laden” and, in fact, not “bin Laden” but “bin Ladens” plural. There were several bin Ladens who were going on private jets to Azerbaijan and Tajikistan. The Turkish ambassador in Azerbaijan worked with them.

There were bin Ladens, with the help of Pakistanis or Saudis, under our management. Marc Grossman was leading it, 100 percent, bringing people from East Turkestan into Kyrgyzstan, from Kyrgyzstan to Azerbaijan, from Azerbaijan some of them were being channeled to Chechnya, some of them were being channeled to Bosnia. From Turkey, they were putting all these bin Ladens on NATO planes. People and weapons went one way, drugs came back.
