Hardin Montana and the American Police Force: Who is scamming Who?

Today we printed the following post:

Who is American Police Force and why are they in Hardin, Montana?

We printed our source,  http://www.kulr8.com/news/local/61320122.htmlhttp://www.kulr8.com/news/local/61320122.html, and who we received it from.

We also found stories on other mainstream media such as:

Subsequent to our posting we also found this American Police Force website which had been taken down and replaced with this one.

Visit the first link and you will see the following:

Shades of WTF????????

Needless to say we were taken aback. So we contacted KULR8 news to ask a few questions and were handed over to Danielle, who admits that her phone has been ringing off the hook regarding this story.

To about every question we asked her, the response was, "that is currently being questioned".

When we asked her if anyone was looking into charging the "American Police Force" with impersonating a police officer she did not know.

When we asked her if the whole town of Hardin, Montana was being scammed she responded they were looking into it.

We asked if they had contacted the American Police Force, which she states they had but, "They are not telling us much?"

They will however be posting more info as they get it.

We then contacted American Police force at
888/647/3001WEST COAST TOLL FREE:

and were immediately put on speaker phone.

We asked about Hardin, Montana and they gave me a public relations person to call (garbled) I then asked them about there website (the one know longer up) that suggest they will kidnap people.
They got angry and hollered, "We do not kidnap people" and hung up.

So will this story continue?  We hope so. We find it fascinating.

Now we have had our credibility questioned and asked why we would even publish such a story.

Here's the gig. We live in the small city of St. Marks. We have no police department and are covered by the county Sheriffs Dept.  Should we wake up one day to see SUV's running around with St. Marks
Police Department on them we would be quite concerned. Even more so if we heard it on the news.

We have been wrong on this site before and copped to it. We are not infallible. We will be wrong again. And when we are, we will cop to it. As it currently stands we do not yet know what the truth of this story is. Hell Apparently Hardin, Montana does not know. But as any followers of this site know,
we will find out!  Stay tuned.Add to Technorati Favorites

Distracted Driver summit-the pussyficatiion of the American Biker

If you have read the previous posts then you are aware that a major Federal Summit is about to begin addressing the problems of "Distracted Driving".  As to why a summit even has to occur regarding this issue is beyond believability other than as usual the government is behind the curve. But then again, not trusting the government, we can also see this as a stalling tactic to keep from doing what should have been done along time ago. For anyone who has bothered to keep up on this issue it is a no brainer.

Why is the summit even needed?

Argue that question if you will, but the bigger question is: Why hold such a summit and not invite any motorcycle rights advocates since motorcyclists, bicyclists, and pedestrians are the ones who suffer the bulk of the consequences??????

And what is arguably the largest, most well funded of all motorcycle rights organizations (MRO's) the American Motorcycle Associations, response (from the post below):

We too are disappointed that they have chosen not to include AMA or other
motorcycle organizations on their panel. However, we were successful in
persuading them to allow us to display and distribute AMA's position
statement on distracted driving at the event.

WTF???????????  What kind of response is that. We will with heads bowed and tails between our legs continue in our subservient role and engage in politically correct action by handing out pamphlets.

Well hi de ho ho ho....... Haven't we made freaking progress.

In the late 60's/early 70's such a dismissal would have resulted in a mass show of civil disobedience by those who would DEMAND that their voices be heard. Some inevitably would have been dragged out kicking and screaming in cuffs.

But that was then and this is now. We have evolved. We do things the Politically Correct (read that subservient) way.

Once proud organizations such as "A Brotherhood Against Totalitarian Enactments" have changed their names to "American Bikers Aimed Towards Education".  How nice and fuzzy sounding. And how misleading since there are no representatives of ABATE on the agenda to help EDUCATE!

Yes I can hear the excuses now. We are state organizations involved with state issues. Well hellooooo..... how much progress are you making???

Arguably there are some state MRO's that have made incremental progress. For the most part states (Florida for example) are going full tilt boogie backwards. The little proof offered substantiating progress is all to often overshadowed by the failures.

And where is the National mouthpiece most State MRO's affiliate themselves with. the National Coalition of Motorcyclists (NCOM)? Are they on the agenda??? OR are they to busy& in the courts making money off the unfortunate?

Yes "some" progress is being made on the field of battle re: MC helmets. What good however, winning the battle and losing the war.

Driver distraction and driver violation of right of way (which we will define as violation of rights period) IS the WAR. Yes I understand the importance of winning the helmet battles. I also understand that being stuck in that battle is like being stuck in the 60's (I have been accused of such) as dinosaurs waiting for the comet that will take them all out.

Face it folk, we have done so well as polishing up our image and becoming pussified do gooders that Seventeen Magazine is now accorded more respect than the American Biker.

And without respect we are nothing more than speed bump in the road.

Subject: RE: Distract Driving Summit Participation and Agenda

Ed,

We have all the links, but thanks.

Are you telling me that on the single most important issue threatening the
lives of American motorcyclists today, that our single most powerful MRO is
going to tolerate being excluded from the first nationwide summit to address
the problem?

I will not settle for that. I hope and encourage many others not to settle
for that.

MAKE A STAND. MAKE A STINK IF YOU HAVE TO. BUT DAMN IT, MAKE A STAND!

BILLINGS - American Police Force officials showed up in Mercedes SUV's that had "Hardin Police" stenciled on the vehicles. The twist, the city of Hardin doesn't have a police department.

Two Rivers Authority officials say having APF patrol the streets was never part of their agenda. "I have no idea. I really don't because that's not been a part of any of the discussions we've had with any of them," said Two Rivers Authority's Al Peterson.

As it stands now the Big Horn County Sheriff's Department is contracted to patrol the city and APF has no jurisdiction. If that was changed Peterson says it would have to go through the city council.

As for the jail contract with APF, both sides are yet to agree to a deal as bondholders rejected it again on Thursday morning. "It's a complicated issue there are a lot of tax laws to work through we were hoping to get it by Tuesday night now we're hoping to get it by Friday night," said Peterson.

Officials say the contract only deals with the detention facility and a police training center. There's no mention of a homeless shelter, animal shelter, or any services for the area.

"That was never in the contract to begin with. I think it was on a wish list of what Captain Michael wanted to do here," said Peterson. American Police Force officials plan to stay in the area for the next month.

Montana Town Occupied By Private Paramilitary Security Force 290909top
A private security force whose biggest role is helping the U.S. government to “combat terrorism” is now patrolling the streets of a town in Montana, acting as law enforcement but accountable to nobody and operating completely outside the limitations of the U.S. constitution in a chilling throwback to the brownshirts of Nazi Germany.

The American Police Force organization is a paramilitary unit that “provides surveillance, investigative, and military services across the world,” according to its website, which shows men dressed in military fatigues carrying machine guns.

“As part of our mission, APF plays a critical role in helping the U.S. government meet vital homeland security and national defense needs. Within the last 5 years the United States has been far and away our #1 client. Technologies, programs, and services performed by APF have played a very important role in U.S. military and civilian efforts to protect our homeland and combat terrorism,” the website states.

APF were originally contracted to provide security at a previously empty detention center in Hardin, a small town in Montana, but are now patrolling the streets driving SUV’s with “Police Department” printed on them despite the fact that Hardin doesn’t have a police department. American Police Force has no jurisdiction in the area because it is a private organization, not a police force.

According to Two Rivers Authority officials, having the private security force patrol the streets was not part of the contract. “I have no idea. I really don’t because that’s not been a part of any of the discussions we’ve had with any of them,” Two Rivers Authority’s Al Peterson told KULR 8 News. Peterson said that patrolling the streets was on the “wishlist” of APF’s Captain Michael.

The American Police Force is a shady outfit shrouded in suspicion. According to an Associated Press report, questions over the legitimacy of the organization abound.
“Government contract databases show no record of the company. Security industry representatives and federal officials said they had never heard of it. On its Web site, the company lists as its headquarters a building in Washington near the White House that holds “virtual offices.” A spokeswoman for the building said American Police Force never completed its application to use the address,” reports AP.

Furthermore, APF was tasked with filling the empty Hardin detention center with inmates, without any clear indication of where those prisoners would come from.
“It’s unclear where the company will get the inmates for the jail. Montana says it’s not sending inmates to the jail, and neither are federal officials in the state,” according to the report.

Maybe the inmates will be the local population of Hardin if American Police Force is allowed to continue to pose as a law enforcement outfit in the town, which is exactly what they intend to do for at least another month.

Having a private security force whose stated mission is to help the U.S. government “combat terrorism” patrol the streets of small towns in America without even having the authority to do so from local authorities is obviously a frightening pretext and harks back to the private paramilitary forces that helped Adolf Hitler rise to power in Nazi Germany.
Many fear that if martial law is declared in response to a flu pandemic or other emergency, private security forces such as APF will be used by the government to oppress citizens by operating outside of the law.

This is completely unconstitutional and a flagrant threat to the liberty and security of the population of Hardin. The County Sheriff is effectively breaking the law if he doesn’t immediately kick APF out of the area and end the occupation of the town by a private paramilitary army.Add to Technorati Favorites
