Phillip Davis is a frequent poster on the Financial site Seeking Alpha. He has over 22000 followers
on a site devoted to making money. He also has his own site devoted to making money that you can pay to get into if you like. Since I can't afford the entrance fee I can not tell you if it is a good thing or not.
Although he refers to himself as being in the top 10% income bracket it that is not why we are writing about him.
We are writing about him because he consistently validates our contention that the American Public is consistently being raped with a baseball bat by the Government/corporate alliance. Following is a comment from his most recent post:
How is it that the American people have allowed ourselves to get this distracted about an issue that affects every single on of us for over a decade? Of course we, in the top 10%, don’t sweat an extra $6,000 a year spent on food and fuel - maybe we take one less vacation or fly coach or something but not enogh to get upset over. It’s the stupefaction of the masses that I don’t understand. $6,000 is a lot of money to the average American family that makes $48,000 yet Joe 6-pack and Joe the Plummer will go out and rally to support the very same people who sold them out to OPEC in exchange for a few shekels of their own
Which is also a question we have repeatedly asked. Not necessarily in that context, but in general.
The answer may lie in the conclusion that an "Ultra conservative" friend of mine arrived at after one of our many friendly arguments. That is that the country has Fallen victim to mass "STUPID".
Well maybe STUPID is to harsh a word. Maybe instead we should use words like apathetic, lazy, unmotivated to seek a truth that will guarantee that their own children will be the victims of their apathetic, lazy, unmotivated, ignorance in seeking out their own truths as opposed to getting it from 2 minute sound bites and fwd.,fwd,.fwd's.
O.K. so on second thought STUPID fits. Because if a person has the ability to read and think there is no excuse for allowing republicans and democrats alike to rape us. Their is no excuse for believing that a grass roots movement, i.e. the "TEA PARTY" (you will have to google it to find a description that fits your bias or read what the first person to call for a new Tea Party has to say here ) has not been co-opted by the republican party and just the Yin to ACORNS yang.
Oh wait, their is one excuse that makes sense. Lack of CAHONIES!
