America in Decline Part 2, it's not the economy Stupid, it's us

If you read the preceding post America in decline, if we don't stop it who will? it should be obvious that America is much worse shape than most of us realize.  The implications are that no matter which side of the political fence you may ride, left or right, we are all going to suffer.  It is no longer a question of "if", it is now a question of "when."  The question of "when" will be answered not by politicians of any political party, but by how long it will take, "WE THE PEOPLE", to get OUR stuff together.

Yes, the economy is rotten and fore-closure gate coupled with QE II will only insure that it is going to get worse.  Kicking the can down the road on the hopes that our grandchildren will foot the bill will no longer work. It is coming due, NOW!

America in decline, if we don't stop it who will?

It is not a revelation to anyone who stays the least bit informed that we have a few problems in this country. The problem becomes identifying what they are and how to fix them, or is it to late?

We ask the question, "is it to late," because there is a polarization in this country that is resulting in grid lock in congress with mad shifts of the pendulum between left and right at every election cycle.  From O'Bama's "yes we can to" to the Tea Party's "We are going to."  The increasing divisiveness in this country is frightening.  Our fear is that the "majority" of the country, young, old, left and right are misidentifying the problem and as a result may win a few battles but lose the war.
