Saturday Shindig to Promote area Veterans day parade.

Saturday, at noon, there will be a tailgate party to promote local veterans and the Veterans Day Parade. The shindig will be at the  Duraprint Building, Gaines & Woodward and there will be beer and oysters. Big D & Buba will be there as well as Uncle Cracker. Greg has helped us on many fronts in the past and it would be great if we could all attend his event.

Biker Gets Elected In Florida

Allen West rides a motorcycle and does a monthly column for Wheel On The Road magazine from South Florida. His opponent Ron Klein tried to make an issue of him being a Biker and even went so far as to suggest he was a member of and or associated with motorcycle gangs.

Elections and the fed which results will be most important

Searching for voter turnout numbers at this time, the best number we can find is an Associated press projection of 42% for the nation, higher than last mid term elections in 06.  There is no projection needed to know that Republicans pretty much nuked the democrats in the house at least.

Florida showed a significant voter increase as they fought to maintain there history of voting in the most corrupt, referencing Rick Scott for Governor and Marco Rubio for the Senate.

The Tea Party made significant strides and may have established themselves as a legitimate third party player (well as legitimate as any of the parties can be). Something the Libertarian party has been unable to accomplish.  We can not hide our amusement however that Delaware gave O'donnell 40% of the vote.
