But in the midst of all that glitter up in that there picture is a kind soul who is slowly making their way through a great many of our posts.  Almost like the person that  lives in a cornfield in Kansas. Almost like they are readin a book.
Which we really appreciate. We really do.

Westboro Church annouces protest of KIA SPC Chihuahua in Thomasville, Ga.

As you can see, the Westboro Church is once again threatening Thomasville, Ga. by announcing they will protest at the funeral of SPC Chihuahua.  We can only say they threaten often but rarely show, but letting your guard down is never a good thing!

We show the announcement in it's entirety so there should be no doubt as to how whacked these people are!

On November 18 we wrote you a nice little post:Open Letter: Dear Mr. President, we can not have "change we can believe in,"If we do not have the courage of our convictions!

We even mailed it to the appropriate place to mail these thingy's http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact.

Now we do understand that you probably get, oh like maybe, more mail than dollars that are in the deficit.  But we did think we might at least get one of those automatically generated, "gee thanks for writing us.  We value your input.  We get a lot of mail but please be assured that some real human being will read this to see if it is a terrorist threat before hitting delete.

Travel by air or motorcycle: Bruce Arnold explains the math

Spoke with Bruce last night where we compared the number of hang up call we get.  Mine have been on the decrease since the ABATE of Florida wanna be's have become even lessor wanna be's. Bruce's on the other hand have increased.  But hey, at least Bruce didn't get the motorcycles pulling into his drive in the early mornin hours.

I was in Aylesbury--a quaint little duck-loving town in Buckinghamshire
chock-full of disarmingly friendly people and Anglo-Saxon history, but a wee
bit lacking in memorable pubs--when the three World Trade Center buildings
were brought down on 11 September 2001. My last name wasn't Bush or Bin
Laden, so my stay in Merry Olde England was extended several days as I
waited anxiously along with thousands of other American expatriates for an
opening on any flight back to Sweet Mother Texas and my loved ones. And
with the sad August 2008 exception of one flight home to my current digs in
Miami after blowing Hidalgo's engine in the Chihuahuan Desert attempting
another BBG 3000, "9-11" marked the end of commercial air travel for me.

Nowadays if I need to get from anywhere to anywhere on the continent, a
motorcycle is my primary--nay, exclusive--means of motorized transportation.
Rain or shine, it's worth the extra time. And compared to the headaches,
humiliations and horrors of post-9/11 TSA goodie grabs ... chronic departure
delays ... tarmac torture sessions ... and peanut-free (Hell, nothing's
free) no-frills airline flights, that "extra time" can be a small price to
pay. Allow me to explain:

This November, the future House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) rode the Tea Party rhetoric to power, promising to gut “business as usual” on Capitol Hill. Touting an earmark ban and public access to bills as clear moves toward transparency, Boehner seemed demonstrably clear on another accountability issue – congressional ethics. “I think the American people expect that their members of Congress should be held to a high ethical standard,” he said in August.

The Federal Elections Commission: The FEC gets our Turkey Award for not taking action this election season, despite watching millions of dollars funneled into political advertisements. Coporations and shadowy fly-by-night organizations spent vast amounts of money this year without disclosing their donors.

The House Ethics Committee: Just last week the House Ethics Committee found one of our Most Corrupt - Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY) - guilty of 11 ethics violations. But did the committee miss the fact that there are 18 members of the House on the list coming back in January for the 112th Congress?

Sen. David Vitter (R-LA) and Sen. John Ensign (R-NV): Why on earth are two of the most corrupt members of the Senate not only currently sitting in office, but returning to Washington next year? Sen. Vitter will be returning to Congress despite a checkered past that includes soliciting prostitutes and misusing taxpayer funds to assist a staffer convicted of crimes. Meanwhile, Sen. Ensign has a closet full of skeletons, and is under investigation by the Department of Justice.
