Were showing our age here. Then what the hell, last night some lady pegged us for 10 years older than we are. First rap we ever heard was Nico with Velvet Underground when we actually had to seek out "pirate radio stations" to hear the music they wouldn't play on mainstream stations.

First things first: As with any post wherein we mention the Arizona shootings we want to be sure that we continue to reiterate that our prayers and condolences go out to "all" the victims of that tragedy. Our hope is that Tuscon will become a stronger community as a result.

After the Gabrielle Gifford shootings, the decision making body of the Government took a week off as we listened to the escalating rhetoric about the state of "rhetoric" in the United States.  When we read the definition of rhetoric we see no mention of any political party.  What this "we" reads, is a definition describing a form of communication that applies not just to, "all" political parties, but any individual or organization that wants to have one opinion favored over another.
