MENA states cry for freedom, America increases surveillance and the internet is used for oppresion

The title of this post may smack of another "conspiracy nut" posting.  But then much has been made of the role of facebook and twitter have played in MENA state rebellions and little attention paid to how governments increasingly utilize the internet and Corporations to sell propaganda.
The number of individuals that actually have access to the internet in many of the MENA states  is proportionately small. Some of the reason for that is has been MENA state bureaucracies early failure to grasp the role the internet can play in the arena of social thought. They are quickly catching up though with the help of  Western Corporate Technologies.

Today has been proclaimed "Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day," and members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars are encouraging people to send electronic cards to those who served. Sen.
