Trying keep to date on all the stuff we try to keep up with is a set up for failure. Ain't know way we can do it. But without the help of these two ladies, Z and cowgirl, we would probably do less.
You will often see "hat tip" to one of these ladies before a post indicating they sent us the info. But just a simple hat tip does not really express how much we appreciate their "Hat tips". Both are "Band" members.
'Z", the one on the right just whipped cancers ass. She rides with the PGR and as you can see is not afraid to dig deep for a story. Her passion for veterans is demonstrated by the number of flag lines she has stood while still sick from chemo. Yes she is married, so no you can't have her number.
Cowgirl is a secret operative that sends us techie and other stuff. Some of it we don't understand. But we post it anyway. Her face has to be kept hidden because, well like we said, she is a secret operative. She is also married. Their mating call is, "YEE HAWWWW!
We should mention Ironbolt Bruce, GoldIron, and Artie too. But we don't have pictures of them and somehow we don't think it would be the same.
Sometimes ya get busy and you don't say thanks enough. So we thought we would take a moment to do that.Add to Technorati Favorites

Bill Repealing Red Light Cameras in Fla. Passes First Stop, tallahassee, Florida
Hat Tip to Z : From WCTV:
Bill Repealing Red Light Cameras in Fla. Passes First Stop
The Florida Senate Transportation Committee today passed a bill which repeals the use of traffic infraction detectors, also known as “red light cameras,” to enforce traffic laws in the state of Florida. Sponsored by Senator Rene Garcia, R-Hialeah, Senate Bill 672 would remove red light cameras from state roads by next July.
“I want to thank members of the Transportation Committee for passing this bill and allowing it to proceed through the legislative process,” said Garcia. “It protects Floridians from the intrusion of what is ultimately a Big Brother law that could open the door to a host of other unwelcome and intrusive initiatives.”
Studies such as the National Motorists Association’s evaluation of red light cameras have found that red light cameras do not create a significant improvement to traffic flow or reduction to the number of accidents. Garcia argues that with the proper traffic control devices and signs, safety can be improved without infraction detector devices.Red light cameras are triggered by any vehicle entering an intersection above a pre-set minimum speed and following a specific time after the signal turns red – it records the license plate number, vehicle speed, date and time of day and elapsed time since the beginning of the red signal.
“There are a variety of perceived infractions which cannot be determined without a human witness,” added Garcia. “The removal of these cameras will avoid incidents when citizens are being ticketed due to funeral processions, emergency vehicles or while the vehicle was in the control of another person lawfully or unlawfully.”
Next, Senate Bill 672 will be heard in the Senate Community Affairs Committee and then by the Budget Committee.Add to Technorati Favorites
