Seems like time is full throttle now days. Maybe it has something to with getting older. Though it was a few weeks ago, it seems like only yesterday my lady and I had traveled down to Daytona to meet up with some folk to work on a particular issue.
So the thanks I wanted to throw at them is a bit on the late side. But sincere none the less. Sometimes you get so wrapped up in what you are doing you don't see what others are doing and forget there is a big ol world out there.
And getting out to see it always leads to more interesting journeys than can be had on the internet. So let me get to it.
BIG BEND BIKERS FOR FREEDOM We make no attempt to be "politically correct". Left, Right, or Center. "Argue for your limitations and they are yours" Bach
Biker Bills passing celebrated
A rare breed now days. He use to say, when it was his time to come, he wanted to go out riding. Prophetic.
We would say we missed you Billy, but for so many you are still here.Add to Technorati Favorites

Vet, Inc. Poker run Tally area and Front Row Joe
Were a bit late getting to this post and getting the pics up. But if you were on Vet, Inc's. Poker run Sat. to help raise funds for the Tallahassee veterans parade then you already saw the action.
If you weren't there, oh well. Because as usual K&K Fish Camp did a fine job of puttin on a good time along with good music by up and comers, the Tongue and Groove band.
The day was outrageously Beautiful. So we kinda figure it must of been the 3 or 4 raindrops that fell in the morning that kept all the riders at home as an embarrassingly total of less than a hundred bikes (closer to the 50 side) showed out to help out those who have spilled blood for the rest of us.
I reckon I just don't get it. Almost every vest in this area has an American flag on it somewhere and many have some sort of patch declaring their patriotism. Times are rough though, so we do understand the need to have priorities???
And though this may not be the post to mention it. Back in the day when people won a poker hand or a 50/50 they more often than not gave at least a percentage of it back to the "cause." Then again, these are rough times, so no need for traditions?
Kudo's to those who split from the run to escort a Vietnam Vets family to the Church in Wascissa for the funeral of one who served and now is gone. And thanks to Front Row Joe and Don and Mary for holding up the festivities long enough to give those riders time to get back to the festivities.
More Kudo's to, Vietnam Vet, Front Row Joe for his stand up comedy gig at the American Legion Sunday Eve to benefit the Veterans Day Parade. Listen up, if you haven't seen him do one of his shows don't miss a chance to catch one. Especially if he does his Joe Cocker Impression (O.K. if you don't know who he is your forgiven).
Oh yeah, let us not forget to thank Don and Mary for the fine Golden Flakes for desert. Click here for a few more pics.Add to Technorati Favorites
