Free Market Economics has a moral component

U.S. Credit rating downgraded by Standard and Poors this evening

Real Americans?

Once again it would appear somebody has been reading our mail. Tonight  Chris Matthews out lined a plan similiar to ours, see Fixing the economy. It can be done! pertaining to creating jobs.   It is not Rocket Science, we were not the first ones to come up with such an idea. And if we and Chris Matthews can figure it out then you would think the collective genius in Washington should be able to come up with something similiar.

After all, they have access to even better brains than theirs.  The corporate brains that have been able to design and get elected a political party, tea party, whose sole purpose is to transfer what little power and substance the working class has, to the top one percent in this country.

It became very clear during the debt ceiling dog and pony show that some in power in this country are perfectly willing to allow America to self destruct unless things are done "their way!"

Unfortunately many of us, this writer included, bought into the false hope sold us by the "yes we can" man who has turned out to be a gifted orator with no integrity or spine. Or maybe, since he is the recipient of big money from the corporations and has surrounded himself with wall street/corporate types he was a plant to begin with.

Either/or the working class American is left with little voice left, and even less ammunition, to effect "Change we can beleive in."

BULL about job creators and the number one priority

Note we did not title "job creation" as the number one priority. In fact, considering the rush to the airports after the "unconstitutional DEBT CEILING DEAL" leaving 70,000 plus jobs up in the air, we would guess that job creation is not a priority at all. But then,  jury rigged figures (see UrbanSurvival.com) were able to get the unemployment rate down to 9.1% from 9.2% So the problem must not be a problem anymore and the millions of dollars that went up in smoke yesterday was just a minor inconvenience.

Were it not for hell raising by U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray Lahood (if only he could speak as loudly for motorcycle rights instead of against them.) in the public media,  those folk would not be working today.  Which of course makes those who say they are concerned about jobs, look like the selfish, self righteous, pawns of the elite, look like the liars they are.  So a special abbreviated session of congress was held to pass a stop gap measure until our "trusted" servants return.  Maybe, with a little luck, they won't return.  We are are increasingly concerned that the biggest threat to the economy is the jackasses that make the rules.  Come back though they will, as D.C. is lobbyist central and that is where the money is at.
