Rogue has been out in Sturgis and we ourselves fell behind due to our little mountain riding trip, so we are playing catch up.  Needless to say ABATE of Florida may fall asleep when it comes to Bikers Rights, but they never fall asleep when it comes to screwing over a member.  So the saga of Rogue vs. ABATE of Florida continues.  Which is really weird when you consider that Rogue is one of "the ORIGINAL" motorcycle rights advocates!

This means that all the little wanna be posers in ABATE of Florida that are allowing ABATE of Florida Board of Directors to get away with this ain't got shit for brains nor balls enough to  call themselves "Bikers."  Then again maybe they been watching to much Sons of Anarchy where fucking over a brother is only punishable by commercials.  And I'll just go ahead now and state for their attorney who likes to send threatening letters.  This  is our freaking "opinion", in America you are allowed to have one,  and yes despite what a Motorcycle Rights Group may think, you are free to speak it and print it.  So to the "Biker Rags" that quit printing anything negative about ABATE due to, as it would appear, some threats to have advertising pulled you are no more than tits and fluff (of course tits are o.k.).

Excuse Mr. Lion, Have you seen Governor Perry

 I know it's old news, but I'm still pissed.  After the cheers the death penalty got in the first debates, and the cheers the Ron Paul remark re: the dude with out insurance will just have to die, got.  Whoops excuse us, after he heard the boo's he did try to clarify by referring to the old days when family, churches and neighbors would have rushed together throwing all their assets into the pot to help their afflicted brethren. Oh Please, Big Gag! One major illness can put most churches out of the business of doing Gods work.
No were pissed because we were thinking that any minute they were going to bring out the lions using Governor Perry for bait after they discovered that in fact, he's a liberal!  O.K. hang on o.k. because we have to finish laughing here a bit as we picture Perry pulling out his concealed .380 to fend off a pride of lions and foaming at the mouth Bachman clones.  But the prospect of seeing another self-righteous, christian, liar being torn limb from limb, getting the stage all bloody in front of CNN's Wolf Blitzer.  I mean really, our brain is fucked because then, we just kind of imagine Anderson Cooper with his wet dream, Kathy Griffin, running out to get comedic commentary from the Lions.

"Tell us Mr. Lion in Chief", asks Cooper, "was it the forcibly injecting 10 and 11 year old girls with cancer protection that drove you and your liberation army to rip Mr. Perry all to shreds."

"Well no Mr. Cooper," answers Mr. Chief Lion, "it was the thought of you showing up with Kathy Griffin that that did it. Shredding Mr. Perry was just a ruse.  It's Kathy we want to eat."  

"Oh Mr. Lion," Kathy squeeks, "your so funny, and handsome too."

I mean after all is the above scenario any more bizarre'O than the fact that the idiots on stage got to a stage in the first freaking place?  We think it a much more pleasant scenario ourselves. After all, after CNN spent the next couple of days, "fact checking" aka, counting lies we can only ask,  "WTF".  Like how come ol WOLFie, who knows this stuff, just didn't say on stage, "Hey, thats a freaking lie, ya wanna try again."  Come on, my ol lady doesn't follow politics and even she had to put her Ipad down long enough to ask, "who are these people anyway?"

All the troubled banks, remember, made similar promises in the wake of the financial crisis. In fact, some of them used the exact same language. Some will recall Goldman’s executive summary from earlier this year in which the bank pledged to respond to a "challenging period" in its history by making changes.

"We reviewed the governance, standards and practices of certain of our firmwide operating committees," the bank wrote, "to ensure their focus on client service, business standards and practices and reputational risk management."

But the reality is, the brains of investment bankers by nature are not wired for "client-based" thinking. This is the reason why the Glass-Steagall Act, which kept investment banks and commercial banks separate, was originally passed back in 1933: it just defies common sense to have professional gamblers in charge of stewarding commercial bank accounts.

In other words, "rogue traders" are treated like bad accidents and condemned everywhere from the front pages to Ewan McGregor films. But rogue companies are protected at every level of the regulatory structure and continually empowered by dergulatory legislation giving them access to our bank accounts.

Sooner or later, this is going to blow up in our faces, and it won't be one lower-level guy with a $2 billion loss we'll be swallowing. It'll be the CEO of another rogue firm like Lehman Brothers, and it'll cost us trillions, not billions.

2008 Redux, Western Banks take over the world

Hyperbole? Maybe not. Yesterday Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner pretty much guaranteed Jim Cramer that Europe was not going to be another 2008 mess. He was correct, it has just gotten big time worse!  U.S. Banks still not fully healed yet from enough working class tax payer dollars, this morning Zero Hedge reported, are bailing out Europe.
