a request for an audit of ABATE of Florida, Inc.,

Below is the agenda for the Joint legislative Auditing committee at which time the $250,000 taxpayer funds given to ABATE of Florida will be addressed as a request for Audit has been filed.  ABATE of Florida contends that this is not taxpayer dollars.  It appears that the  money comes from a 2.50 surcharge on Motorcycle registrations.  "Any money"  taken out of your pocket by the state without your permission is by any other name a TAX!
If you ride a motorcycle and are a veteran, who who has had breast cancer, our love animals, care about the environment or any number of issues, ask your self has funding to your issues been cut this year?
Look around in your hometown and ask yourself, what is ABATE of Florida doing for you locally or for motorcyclist as a whole
Ask your representative, why is ABATE of Florida, whose membership is less than one percent of the motorcycling population being given being given a quarter million dollars of your money.  Ask your representative why ABATE is  getting this money.  ASK YOURSELF, ARE THEIR ANY STUDIES OR RESEARCH THAT DEMONSTRATES THAT THE MONEY IS NOT JUST GOING DOWN A DEEP DARK WHOLE?  WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?
If on the  other hand, you as motorcyclist/biker do not mind your money being taken and thrown in a hole without your input.  Sit on your ass, ignore the rest of this post and do nothing!
Below is the agenda for the joint legislative meeting that will be held tomorrow at 12:30 that means you have to act fast and contact your legislator.
