BIG BEND BIKERS FOR FREEDOM
We make no attempt to be "politically correct". Left, Right, or Center. "Argue for your limitations and they are yours" Bach
I currently have pages of charts, statistics and links I have been wanting to post. But they only prove what we have stated before. Except that things are rapidly getting worse. And since we have been, for the past few years, posting on the inevitability of the "now", we are a bit fearful that this new found activism may be to late. We hope not. But the reality is, the speed of Europes decline is only gaining due to people placing hope in their lies. Apparently 2008 taught us little. As a result we will pay more. It is no longer a may be, or a possibility, or conjecture. It is now fact. We ain't lied to yet have we?
It is also fact that we can rail against Bush, the Tea Party, Obama, Congress, the Fed, the Banks and the corporations, but at the end of the day, when we look into the mirror, it is there we see who it is to blame.
"WE THE PEOPLE." We were warned, we were chastised, we were given a second chance and we sat on our asses until we can now hear the thunder of what is what we once thought were far off storms.
As we type we are hearing Democrats and Republicans alike are all of a sudden taking favor with the "Occupy movement". Even spawn of Satan Cantor has has toned down his rhetoric in preparation to suck up to them just as he slithered out of his tree to embrace the Tea Party.
"A veteran -
whether active duty, retired, national guard, or reserve - is someone
who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check made payable
to The 'United States of America', for an amount of 'up to and including
his life.'" – Author Unknown
If there must be trouble, let it be in my day, that my child may have peace. -- Thomas Paine
"Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it.” -- Thomas Paine
Editors note: We preface the following with a word of our own. Every Veteran has served his/her has paid their dues and rightfully has the right to hang up their tools of war, their nightmares and unwanted memories. We apologize for the way this government and many of it's citizens have paid lip service to honor and respect while failing to uphold promises made to them. We would have complete understanding were they to turn their backs to all of us with a one fingered salute.
Though we have no right to ask it, we would ask that they consider, it may be now that they are needed like they were never needed before.
In light of the actions of Sgt. Shamar Thomas USMC Veteran, as he stood in front of approximately 30 NYPD advising them that he would not allow them to violate the constitutional rights of the protesters by virtue of the oath he took upon putting on our Countries uniform we felt we should throw in a plug for the OATH KEEPERS. If you did no of their existence it is time you did.
United States from Roosevelt, NY went toe to
toe with the New York Police Department. An activist in the Occupy Wall
Street movement, Thomas voiced his opinions of the NYPD police brutality
that had and has been plaguing the #OWS movement.
Thomas is a 24-year-old Marine Veteran (2 tours in Iraq), he currently plays amateur football and is in college.
Thomas comes from a long line of people who sacrifice for their country:
Mother, Army Veteran (Iraq), Step father, Army, active duty
(Afghanistan), Grand father, Air Force veteran (Vietnam), Great Grand
Father Navy veteran (World War II).
USMC
I took an Oath that I live by. I am NOT anti-NYPD. I am anti- Police
Brutality. I am no longer under contract with the USMC so I do NOT have
to follow military uniform regulations. I DON'T affiliate myself with
ANY GROUPS or POLITICAL ORG. I affiliate myself with the AMERICAN PEOPLE
that's it.
I REFUSE to affiliate with anything that SEPERATES. There is
an obvious problem in the country and PEACEFUL PEOPLE should be allowed
to PROTEST without Brutality. I was involved in a RIOT in Rutbah, Iraq
2004 and we did NOT treat the Iraqi citizens like they are treating the
unarmed civilians in our OWN Country. No one was brutalized because our
mission was to "WIN the hearts and minds", why should I expect anything
less in my OWN Country.
