Ouzts Too Biker rest stop and Bar and grill threw it's annual "Get Stoned Crabs Halloween Biker Bash"(known by any number of other names as we played with the sign, sorry Dorthy).  Unfortunately as many of us get older we forget how to play.  Fortunately the Ouzts ladies did not and stole the show.  Putting to rest any arguments re: Hooters girls aka Barbies.  And as always, rockin music was played and good times were had.

We were a bit disappointed that the apple bobbing did not take place in the backyard toilet garden taking place instead out front.  We also can't understand how cherry tree "pervet" was unable to coerce many cages traveling hwy 98 to pull in, try as she did.  In fact we wondered if that did not cause a number of them to speed up to get across the bridge where of course the ever present Sunday (and most other days of the week) FHP speed trappers lay in wait.

But then again, Google itself cautions against using Google trends as a scientific tool by itself.

Tallahassee Veterans Parade NEEDS HELP

If you attended last years Tallahassees Veterans Parade then you know how kick ass it was.  You also should know that this was the first parade totally put on by Veterans after they took the Parade from the city after, our words, "they were disrespected". SO PLEASE, HELP OUT IF YOU CAN.


Lets start with needs,

1. We need 3 more pick-up trucks with drivers on Thursday afternoon between 5 & 7 PM. These will be loaded with coolers, a pop-up, table and 3 chairs for each of the beverage stands that will be set-up Friday morning by 9:30AM, they will be picked up and brought back to parade central right after the parade.

2. We are going to need approx 25 corner and break area volunteers for the 5 K, these jobs will start about 7:30 or so and be over by 9:30. Anyone interested in filling these spots please contact Matt Cavell at 850-606-1970 or cavellm@leoncountyfl.gov

3. We are going to need approx 25 volunteers on Thursday Afternoon fron about 4:00PM to 7:00PM to set up both the Parade staging area's and the Festival area's, as well as stock coolers with product to sell the next day.

4. Please inform a nyone you know who rides a Motorcycle that all Bikes, riders and passengers are welcome at the Rolling Thunder start of the Parade. They do NOT have to be a Veteran. Registration for Motorcycles will be at the corner of Call St and Adams St.

Our next meeting will be Monday Night 10-31 ( Yes Halloween ) at the Hootch @ 6:30 PM,
