Occupy Tallahassee, Hmmm we will see

We are slam posting an article from Tallahassee com. on the question as to whether or not Occupy Tallahassee is diminishing or not. Leave it to tallahassee.com to do a fluff piece with no freaking critical or analytical thinking at all.  Leaving us to believe they now believe journalism is acting like a freaking flock of parrots. We shall remedy such as we have time. We just posted this to remind us to do so.

The Occupy Tallahassee movement is still alive and shouting from the Capitol, but the weekly participants are noticing a drop-off in attendance.

Lauren McCoy, a 20-year-old employee at CosmoProf, said the slow decrease in numbers is a product of a late start to the movement along with some disorganization within the group.

"I have been to every rally since we started," she said. "I've noticed the numbers have been dwindling. We're trying to figure out what each person can do and what they can do efficiently."

60 minutes on congressional insider trading, the cesspool of traitors

60 minutes this evening aired an expose on what is really no secret to those who have been following the government for sale posts we have been putting up for years.  In short, what would be illegal for any average, including bankers and brokerage house employees, i.e. insider trading, is not only legal, but actively engaged in by our congressional "leaders." It explains how a  politician can leave office much richer than they entered.

The most egregious of these actions took place during 2008. While the nation was going broke. Members of finance and other committees were getting rich off information they could obtain with supoena power that was not known to the general public. Again, we can not say emphatically enough, these are actions that would land you and I in jail. These are actions that would land "bankers" in jail.  And lest your think this corruption is limited to any one party one of the kings of profiting from insider trading is Herr Boehner (R) and Princess Pelosi (D).  And we are not even touching the tip of the iceberg whereby members of congress receive shares of up and coming IPO's which they can quickly flip for a profit.

An Aristocratic government is where rule os exercised by a few of the most prominent citizens. A Kleptocratic form of government is where that rule is effected via the use of corruption.  That is why while other sites use less flammatory  language such as Aristocracy or Oligarchy we stick to the more intellectually honest Kleptocracy.

PGR-VNVA poker run 2011

80+ riders signed up for the Patriot Guard/Vietnam Vets of America poker run this year.  Which means had you been there your chances of winning $1000.00 were 1 out of  80+.  Damn good odds.   Which we just has a hard time grasping our head around, i.e. the low turn out.

So what are the could be's?  Many rode yesterday in the veterans parade, it was cold in the am, FSU game in the afternoon (nothing guarantees a low turnout to even the end of the world when up against an FSU game),  and an economy that sucks.  Our guess.  Probably all of the above.  Which means, as more and more people try to Tap the Biker money well from an ever decreasing flow it becomes, as PGR state road captain said, to SUPPORT THOSE WHO SUPPORT US!

O.k. now we got the editorial out of the way. All stops, CCHD, Ouzts Too (Newport), SkyBox, (Crawfordville) Corner Bar (Havana) and K&K fish camp (all by itself at Lake Iammonia) all did the usual great job these folks consistently do at giving back to the veteran and biker community. 

Texas Mike won the $1000,00 large ones and gave $950.00 back.  I know TM.  I know he like the rest of has bills.  I also know he has his priorities straight. Two thumbs up TM.

I'm thinking most everybody that bought a door prize ticket h ad to have won at least one.  And if not, you at least had the opportunity to pig out on pig provided by K&K.

So to those who rode, great job.  To those who wanted to but couldn't afford it, we know where your at folk.  To those who chose the FSU game over the ride, sell your Bike!
