There is much controversy over what the National Defense authorization Act (NDAA) actually has in it and what it says. Most references deal with the Senate version of the bill and sections 1031-1032.
Many are confused as to what the bill does and does not say. We are about to add to the confusion.
After being tipped by Bruce Arnold we have accessed the House version from this link:
http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/CREC-2011-12-12/pdf/CREC-2011-12-12-pt1-PgH8356-5.pdf
This pages were found 81 pages into the bill. Only in this version we are concerned with sections 1021 and on. We were unable to copy these sections from the link so we have had to take screen shots. This is the only link we have been able to find this document. Because it is screen shots we are unable to highlight the pertinent areas. We provide this info to add to the conversation and more clarification. We leave it to you to do the reading and arrive at your own conclusions.

Apple INC. equals Islavery resulting in I need Dr.
Pegatron Corp, a supplier of iPad 2 back panel parts to Apple, has reported an explosion at its plant in China, which left 61 employees injured, 23 of which needed to be hospitalised. The company's CFO Charles Lin said that the plant is currently closed to production while it carries out pre-operation inspection. Both Pegatron and Apple indicated that they were investigating the incident.
Another false housing report sets up failure
And we say failure because based on data people make decisions. When they have faulty data they make faulty decisions. As we type this the market is up 300+ points. Alleluia the world is saved. Though ye of commonsense may wish to ask yourselves, where can we get whatever their smoking? OR maybe, what is so different from yesterday that makes today worth that jump? Oh thats right Europe? You jest we are sure. Europe is terminal. Otherwise why did so much foreign money jump into U.S. Treasuries today at zero percent interest? Somebody somewhere is big time wrong. We suggest folk bounce on over to Compounded Interest and browse the pretty charts and the pertinent info. such as,
Todays announcement of a rally in housing starts (1 unit) of New Privately Owned Housing Units Started – 1 Unit NSA – of up 2.29% in November is grossly misleading. Why? It’s that darned seasonal adjustment again! If we use non-seasonally adjusted data (aka, raw data not tampered with), we find that 1 unit housing starts actually FELL -11.25% in November.
If you do not believe them, then google for a few more of the "not government related" sites under the topic. THeres a number of them. We just liked his pretty charts.Add to Technorati Favorites
House rejects payroll tax- So what else is new?
Ostensibly this all has to do with finance. However we have to ask ourselves, how much is all this game playing costing us? Who even listens to them anymore? Here is how it works, bill comes before the house, it fails. Simple.
The news for us is, the amazing ability of U.S. citizens to continue to swallow this crap over and over again with out marching on Washington with the express intention of throwing these Bastards out into the gutter. So let the politico's, the talking heads, the media and the rest of the liars prance and dance. We are not playing the game. In our estimation the system it broken beyond repair and the only news we want to see, the only forwarded, forward we want bouncing in our e-box is the one that says, "meet you in Washington, insure all your friends get this, time to time to take the garbage out!"Add to Technorati Favorites
Bureau of labor statistics prove the totalitarian state
"While the operation may sound like a harmless effort to add political spin to the release of jobs data, sharing confidential BLS estimates while they are protected by an embargo violates a federal law barring the early release of employment data. This is no small matter: A conviction for breaching the Confidential Information Protection and Statistical Efficiency Act of 2002 carries a fine of up to $250,000, up to five years in prison, or both." Of course, when it comes to breaking the law, both members of the US banking class, as well as America's politicians, are perfectly immune from any repercussions. But at least the next time the market does its usual pre-NFP acrobats, the only question will be: which particular US politicians i) traded in advance of the embargo lift, and ii) leaked the information to ten of their closest friends, who did the same, who did the same, etc.
So why is this a problem?
The BLS job numbers move markets upon release. In present times the number released can move the markets 100 points easily upon their release. Anybody receiving that information prior to it's release to the public can "make a killing in the stock market."
Of course we know the market is riddled with crooks. Anyone who watches market movements in the minutes before the announcement of like data can see the upward surge resulting from "somebody" taking action on leaked information. However the increasing exposures of "privileged banking class and politician" involvement has us wondering why we are wasting money chasing and imprisoning perpetrators of victimless crimes? Surely the Cosa Nostra would love to get a piece of this action reserved for those who write and enforce the laws. This becomes even more egregious when you consider our postings on congressional insider trading, see: 60 minutes on congressional insider trading, the cesspool of traitors.
As illegal as much of what we have posted in these pages may be, we have yet to see any of the responsible "banker/political perpetrators" charged, much less convicted, of any crimes. Jon Corzine and pals, responsible for billions of dollars of client money going up in smoke, still walk the streets free.
Actions of this sort go beyond the simple question of justice however. Because as we are seeing, "Justice" today is a non issue. Actions such as these can only occur with a totalitarian regime wherein the ruling class can act with impunity while the servant class can not.
You choose the flavor. Kleptocracy, Oligarchy, Fascism, Right wing socialism for the corporate state, whatever....... A rose by any other name is still a rose and U.S. citizens by any other name are still servants under rule!Add to Technorati Favorites
