A Veterans day challenge to all Florida Bikers

  I suppose it takes a lot of damn gall for someone to ask all Florida Bikers to help a Veterans day out in Tallahassee, the Capital of Florida. But we have never been short on gall and the truth is we need you. As you can see by this post, Tallahassee Veterans, why they need YOU! And we need them, for years Tallahassee veterans have been fighting for respect. That should not be surprising. After all, Tallahassee is the the home of corrupt politicians and two colleges full of, who for the most part, are to busy partying to take a moment away from their important studies to give a soldier, or anyone else for that matter proper respect.

So why would we come to you and why should you care. Well, if you watch this Veterans Events Tallahassee press conference, The full Veterans Events Tallahassee Press conference , covered by one representative of one major local news organization. And then read these two posts, Capital City Bank disrespects Tallahassee Veterans-back story, and Tallahassee Businesses that refused to support veterans day parade it should be apparent that the Veterans of the states capital need help. Most especially since they have in effect said, "screw the corporations, we are going to rely on the PEOPLE"! Which you gots to admit is a pretty ballsy move.  It's like putting it all on the line. It's pass or fail time. It's exactly what a "real" Biker does!


Hell it was only two years ago Veterans were able to get their parade moved to main street where such important parades such as Spring Time Tallahassee and a parade haveing to due with Christmas but not called a Christmas parade because after all, that would not be politically correct.

But like it or not, this is YOUR state Capital.  And sometimes you have to send a message to YOUR state Capital. That if they can't make whats wrong right, YOU will!

So heres the challenge,  if you are a motorcycle club ( and oh god wouldn't it be justice to see 1%'s involve themselves in this), a riding club, a veterans club, a LEO club, PGR chapter or any number of the permutations of motorcycle organizations that ride in umpteen gazillion doggie runs that that don't do anything for this country other than give you a soft, furry, fuzzy moment we ask you to ask you ask each one of your members to give $5.00 a month. Less than a six pack or a pack of cigarettes and then your organization pledge to send that amount every month to Veterans Events Tallahassee.

Yes we know this is a totally off the wall bizzarro request.  But what if it worked. WHAT IF IT WORKED SO WELL THE TALLAHASSEE VETERANS DAY PARADE WAS CHANGED TO THE FLORIDA VETERANS DAY PARADE WHICH IT SHOULD BE TO BEGIN WITH?

THINK ON IT FOLK! We do know the veterans in Tallahassee would be much appreciative.
