In light of the chart we posted here, Fools go ahead vote, first check this chart, illustrating the wealth destruction of the "middle-class" going back to the 90's we thought it appropriate to add a few links to help "dumbed down" Americans, "smart up".
Before we do however we feel it necessary to preface the following links with the statement that we are not attempting to engage in a hatchet job on any particular political party. We believe that both of today's major political parties are what they are in name only. Certainly not in ideology. We further contend that, as in the past, both major political are corrupt. The difference, in our thinking, is that today the Republican and Democratic Parties are not only corrupt, but owned by corporate interest. Even this is not without precedence if you read the links we provide.
Due to facts recently provided us by a compatriot, "Sunshine," illustrating the financial difficulties many news sources are experiencing as result of the current public preference for lies that re-enforce their world view over facts, we suffer no illusion that many will read the links in their entirety.
However because we wish to live in a free America, we feel obligated to provide the information, not for the masses, but for the one or two truth seekers who may benefit from reading them. The rest can go back to the multi forwarded emails filling up their mailboxes and the comfort of re-enforcing false truth with more lies.

The last post we would like to highlight references a number of past presidents and some of our forefathers. History is your friend, or least your ticket to freedom if you understand how we got from there, the American Revolution, to here, the Great American Oppression.

Austerity In America: you have seen nothing yet. We all are to blame!
In the above post we sourced both views from the right and the left. Not surprisingly depending on which snapshot of time you wish to reference, often times both parties have supported the others agenda. The current division is of a scope not seen since the civil war or the the Vietnam Era. It is a shame we are a country of tearing ourselves apart only so we can attempt to heal old wounds. The problem becomes, eventually the wounds become infected and eats up the body, mind and soul in such a way no drug can cure.
Our contention has and continues to be that Americans as a whole lack courage, honor and respect. While politicians, banks, and corporations continue to rip us off as they have done since Teddy Roosevelts time we continue to focus our anger on people of color, different sexual orientations, gender, religious beliefs and ethnic background. Most especially those who most lack the ability to fight back. In other words we are bully's who pick on the weak while we allow the bigger bullies whom we meekly hand power to license to walk all over us. We believe history bears us out other than the paradox wherein we show the greatest courage when fighting other countries, yet exhibit cowardice when it comes to our greatest enemies at home.
Freedom is not found in the democratic or republican parties, it is found in the hearts and souls of the individuals who can say to both of them-FUCK OFF!
