I believe we can take Representative Lopez-Canterra at his word.

He did say he would get HB137 passed and despite our total disagreement with the bill he did.

The President of ABATE of Florida however said the bill was dead.

It was not.

He said we needed to stop writing our legislators.

We did not need to stop. We need to increase our efforts.

We do not need the law modified. We need it repealed! rc

The biking community has my word that I will re-visit the motorcycle tag language this upcoming legislative session. I will personally file legislation to lower the penalties for placement of tags from the $1,000, $2,500, $5,00. it is at now.

At first this letter from Doc with all of its' lies, spins, and historical fact revisions pissed me off, but as I thought about it more, I shrugged my shoulders and decided "who cares". Now that sounds like a real apathetic stance for a Biker's Rights Activist to take until you realize how few of FL bikers he/ABATE-FL represents. In addition to that, those that are active in Biker's Rights know the REAL truth and no amount of Doc's spins will change that. Those that are not active and count on an Always Bring Alcohol to Events leadership to speak for them because they really don't care and aren't really truly ever going to be active, don't really matter in a Biker's Right's Movement because they are still the pathetic/apathetic "sheeple".

So "here's to them what knows".
