Truth to employment numbers, people scammed again

This is becoming a sick game. Every month the U.S. Government/corporate alliance/Kleptocracy puts out the monthly employment numbers.  And of late we see glowing Headlines from the mainstream media such as the following, U.S. Economy Gains Steam as 200,000 Jobs Are Added. Within which you find the following quote,

“The improving trend in the U.S. labor markets is not just a temporary blip, but seems to be something quite sustainable,” he said, adding that the improvement had come despite continued Washington gridlock.
U.S. unemployment rate dropsWith any number of qualifiers telling you how wonderful this is though it may not really be. Kinda like this one,

Unemployment rate falls to 8.5%, lowest in nearly 3 years, Complete with  pretty charts like these,

Are they not pretty.  Do you feel prosperous now. So let us not have any elections this time around because everything is going way cool......

heh, bet ya know us better by now cause were gonna put some truth on ya!

With, oh just about anything housing or employment number related we refer to the  Market Ticker guy, Karl Denninger because, well because he has the cred that dictates he gets it right before the freaking public wakes up. Mr. Denninger presents the following observations:

No lady, supporting Occupy Wall street and supporting communism are not the same!

As we stumble through the blogosphere seeking truths mainstream media may not find good for ratings we are increasingly coming across posts in the "Financial Community" who, if are not in overwhelming support of the "Occupy Movement" do sympathize with them and concede that often, they are right.  It is not that the message the Occupiers send is new to them, it is that some have been banging away at the same message for years ( Well part of it anyway, cause no, if you signed the papers for a school loan you can't afford, you don't get a do over).
googling under fat us banker gave us this pic, also boo coo links to porn, how ironic

Some of them from the New York area have gone to mingle with and exchange ideas with the, Occupy Wall Street protestors, no were not talking about the likes of Micheal Moore and others who would only use the protestors for profit, but those who wish to getter a better understanding of the movement.

You see, many of them are work every day people with next door neighbors, kids and bills who just happened to have been in positions to watch the shit from on high come down.  They still watch it everyday and tell the truth about it everyday.  Problem is they ain't high paid media guns like Sean Hannity(FOX) OR Lawrence O'Donnell (MSNBC) who are paid to pound the ratings drum irregardless of truth.  IN FACT, many of these folk have been pounding the "occupy" mantra before "Occupy" became a movement!.  Search and you will find many that think we are long overdue for a perp walk.  Many are at the mercy of the same one percent we all are.  Many whose living comes from playing "the game", i.e. participating in the financial markets, who see how the game is rigged and the playing field increasingly tilted towards those who who can afford the biggest fastest computers that allow them to break the law with impunity because it so happens they can afford to buy those who work for the Government Outlaws at the  Securities and Exchange commission too.

If some links do not mention Occupy wall street specifically they at least add fire to what the corruption fires occupiers bring attention to.  If a number of these post link to Zero Hedge it is because they have been all over how the markets are gamed for a number of years now. So go to clicking:

Can you say Market Manipulation???

Can you say, whoops? Now the folks on CNBC would have you believing that that little bounce back in the market at the end of the day was a save. Take a look at this chart from Zero Hedge and say to yourself, o.k. that markets were dying, but all of a sudden at the exact same time everybody that was selling stocks said, oh wait a second, lets buy them instead. We suspect that statistically your chances of being eaten by a shark while visiting Kansas might be better than that happening. Hmmmm, so what could it be??? Can you hear the sound of hard drives kicking in??? Do you feel like your being set up for the kill??? Hmmm Let me see can I weigh the options? Buy stocks? Or buy Ammunition??? And I only say Ammunition Mr. Spook because I may get hungry and need to shoot an Armadillo. Im raising them you know. Oh silly me, of course you know.Add to Technorati Favorites

2008 Redux, Western Banks take over the world

Hyperbole? Maybe not. Yesterday Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner pretty much guaranteed Jim Cramer that Europe was not going to be another 2008 mess. He was correct, it has just gotten big time worse!  U.S. Banks still not fully healed yet from enough working class tax payer dollars, this morning Zero Hedge reported, are bailing out Europe. But then we have been all along as we have posted before, see:

Follow the Bailout Money, It's in Greece. China to the rescue???

In fact we have been all along. Since the beginning of 2009. We have been posting how, as we termed them, the corporate/government alliance was responsible for the 2008 mess.  Much of it related to guess, fallout from Goldmans Sachs complicity in selling chopped up mortgages to Greece with the full knowledge that they were worthless!  Yet nobody has yet gone to jail.  And now from Zero Hedge, which has to be reprinted in it's entirety so that the enormity of what is going on can be illustrated clearly:

SEC again, there hiring, you to can watch porn for dollars

Damn we hope you read our posts,  How can you be free if Government protects the Crooks? Wall Street and the SEC. Freedom? and SEC, The governments Rogue agency, protect yourself.
And if you just got here because we mentioned porn then you are the wrong place.  If you want porn you must google congress ant the White house or.........Get a job with the SEC.  That grand old government Wall street Police people that are having to problems.  1.  They spend more time watching porn than doing their job, which is to "protect and serve" you, and 2. They what they are doing.

ETF's are Exchange Traded Funds, you follow me?  If you have a retirement account your retirement account guy may have recommended a few for you.  They can be a good deal for the working class that can't afford to sit in front of a computer all day watching little squiggly's  go by.  They give the working guy/gal to a wide variety of investment options that help to spread the risk a bit while taking advantage of  a certain segment of the economy.  Like instead of buying just "Google" your buying a basket of stocks like google.  So hopefully if Google does something stupid and craters the other stocks on the basket will cushion y our blow (no, no, no, Not your cocaine, that's for your broker silly).

CNBC Fast Money disses Zero Hedge, and your 401K?

In the past we have referenced posts/articles form a number of Financial sites that focus on the markets.  We have also stated we do this, not because we are a wealthy investor (the opposite would be closer to the truth which is why we have a donate button), but because we are a firm believer that if you want to know the "truth" of something, e.g. government, then you must "Follow the money".

Money=Power and it is extremely naive to believe that those who have Money and Power are not  not invested in the areas of government that impact them.  It is also naive to believe that government is not corrupted by the money and "Real" power.

This site is about freedom and liberty. Therefor it is incumbent upon us and others with the same concerns to follow the actions of those who would  steal it from us.  The corrupted!

Recently we have included several links to Zero Hedge.   Zero Hedge is not Mainstream Media, though it is growing fast.  It is a site we follow for the same reason we follow certain other sites.  Over a period of time their information withstands scrutiny.  It also pulls the curtain back on a part of the financial world most of us are not familiar with.  Unfortunately for this writer, we have never been much good at math so often times we find the site arcane and difficult to understand.  In other words we have to stretch our brain cells when we read it, which means a great many who should read it, won't.

To cast off chains of bondage you must first have the key-revolutionary thinking

AND THAT KEY IS YOU!  Recently a site that we highly recommend, ZERO HEDGE (We receive nothing for mentioning the site and they really do not need us to). At first glance it is, and it's primary focus is, a financial site.   However it is more than that.  It is a personal "FREEDOM" site.

Make no mistake about it, we have beat this drum before, economy/finances equal freedom.  I know there are those that may argue that freedom is so much more than money.  But try exercising any freedoms without it!  What you eat, live in, drive to church, work or the unemployment line in is all dictated by what you can afford.  Anyone who can not grasp this simple concept only need to spend some time living in the streets to understand it.

Of course there are other components of Freedom.  Many listed in the constitution of this country.  But NO FREEDOM can be obtained unless you can first set "YOURSELF FREE"!  By that we mean examination of and what you are, how you came to be that way and is it, i.e. you, valid?

A saying we heard way back has stuck in our mind: What you learn you practice. What you practice you become. What you become has consequences!

We have posted in the past about the various ways we learn and how often times what we think is true is not even close.  That when confronted with reality we will often deny it because it violates that which we have been trained to think since birth. An example might be that, most in this country would discount most religions, other than Christianity.  This despite the fact that "most" in this country have very little knowledge regarding "other" religions.  For many Christianity has been imprinted on their psyche since an early age.  Often times religious beliefs and reason are in contradiction.  And more often than not "reason" will be discounted in order to maintain the reality of our "religious" convictions, right or wrong. This post however is not about religion.  It is about everything we believe.

Which brings us to a recent post by Zero Hedge titled:

Though we recommend reading the entire post we recognize that not many will do so as it is long and involves much thought. So we will take the liberty of quoting parts of it here. Although this post is on a financial site much of it applies to life in general and we have ignored some parts in an attempt to  highlight how it impacts general belief systems.

Not reading the original posting in it's entirety of course means you only see what we find relevant and may miss what could be relevant to you. Please note that this is not a recommendation that you flock to the Zero Hedge site and beleive everything you read.  We might suggest however, consideration of almost everything your hear, see or read and most especially think! And then reconsidering it. You have been warned.

The author of the post is, Cognitive Dissonance. From Dictionary.com:

cognitive dissonance:

–noun Psychology .
anxiety that results from simultaneously holding contradictory or otherwise incompatible attitudes, beliefs, or the like, as when one likes a person but disapproves strongly of one of his or her habits.
n

psychol  an uncomfortable mental state resulting from conflicting cognitions; usually resolved by changing some of the cognitions
Medical Dictionary,
Function: n
:  psychological conflict resulting from simultaneously held incongruous beliefs and attitudes (as a fondness for smoking and a belief that it is harmful)

Considering the times we can relate.

Bin Laden Is Dead, so will the Patriot Act be repealed???

Not likely as already the mass media is being swamped with "experts" advising that we can't let our guard down.  It's pretty much a truism that giving freedom away is easier than giving it back.  Then of course the other question is, since we did not let Pakistani officials know about our intention to raid Bin Ladens hideout due to lack of trust, will we get back any of the 1.5 billion dollars a year we give them?

A good take on this story is on ZeroHedge here:
An unsolicited word about ZeroHedge. We consistently say if you want to know truth follow the money.
Zero Hedge is one of the sites we frequent.  You will note most of the posts are anonymous. There is a reason for that.  But you have to follow the site for awhile to figure it out.Add to Technorati Favorites

Austerity In America: you have seen nothing yet. We all are to blame!

The following excerpt from, Austerity In America: 22 Signs That It Is Already Here And That It Is Going To Be Very Painful , is occurring as we write.

Most Americans tend to think of "government debt" as only a problem of the federal government. But that is simply not accurate. The truth is that there are thousands of "government debt problems" from coast to coast. Today, state and local government debt has reached at an all-time high of 22 percent of U.S. GDP. It is a crisis of catastrophic proportions that is not going away any time soon.
