Once again it would appear somebody has been reading our mail. Tonight Chris Matthews out lined a plan similiar to ours, see Fixing the economy. It can be done! pertaining to creating jobs. It is not Rocket Science, we were not the first ones to come up with such an idea. And if we and Chris Matthews can figure it out then you would think the collective genius in Washington should be able to come up with something similiar.
After all, they have access to even better brains than theirs. The corporate brains that have been able to design and get elected a political party, tea party, whose sole purpose is to transfer what little power and substance the working class has, to the top one percent in this country.
It became very clear during the debt ceiling dog and pony show that some in power in this country are perfectly willing to allow America to self destruct unless things are done "their way!"
Unfortunately many of us, this writer included, bought into the false hope sold us by the "yes we can" man who has turned out to be a gifted orator with no integrity or spine. Or maybe, since he is the recipient of big money from the corporations and has surrounded himself with wall street/corporate types he was a plant to begin with.
Either/or the working class American is left with little voice left, and even less ammunition, to effect "Change we can beleive in."
BIG BEND BIKERS FOR FREEDOM We make no attempt to be "politically correct". Left, Right, or Center. "Argue for your limitations and they are yours" Bach

The rich Prosper from the unemployed
And Unemployment is rising. Some are proposing that long term unemployment is now structural. There is no doubt and numerous writings prove it, the working class has been screwed. But what so many do not understand is that it has been a combination of tactics by both parties that have caused and will continue this situation. Why because it benefits the Rich.
The Tea Party started out with a noble agenda, clean America's corrupt financial system. Then we see that they, like any other group that forms in operation to the rich, have been purchased. Unfortunately they like so many others, have drank the kool aid that results in "Alice in Wonderland" thinking and as a result, those who originality believed in their cause are not even aware that they have been sold out.
We leave you, for your consideration:
How America's Unemployment Crisis Saved the Rich, From Econmatters:
By Mark Provost
Christina Romer, former member of President Obama’s Council of Economic Advisors, accuses the administration of “shamefully ignoring” the unemployed. Paul Krugman echoes her concerns, observing that Washington has lost interest in “the forgotten millions.” America’s unemployed have been ignored and forgotten, but they are far from superfluous. Over the last two years, out-of-work Americans have played a critical role in helping the richest one percent recover trillions in financial wealth.

Unemployment and stock market rise, Is it to late for the American Worker or is it just relative
Last week government figures showed an uptick in the unemployment rate to 9.8 percent. Non farm payrolls reported at more than two thirds "less" than than analyst expectations. The scariest figures reported that would be of interest to the working class were,
This is counter intuitive and many of the talking heads were at a loss to explain the discrepancy. Some stating that the economy was gaining strength and the unemployment number was an outlier.
We think the discrepancy is perfectly understandable and think that it may be an indicator of things to come. We believe that were one to take a global perspective and think in relative terms it becomes fairly easy to understand, that the American worker with diminished value, is no longer the driving force in the economy that it once was. Furthermore, we believe that tax breaks for any class of American society will do little to change the dynamic, but only postpone the inevitable. That the proposed continuation of the tax breaks for the rich will only accelerate this process.
Though the holiday shopping season is officially under way, Retail hiring fell by 28,000 in November. Manufacturing dropped another 13,000 jobs. Healthcare added 19,000, which is consistent with trends throughout the economic downturn of the past few years. Temporary jobs grew by 40,000 in the month.Yet at the same time the stock market broke out approaching highs for 2010.
